MAHA LIPI 

(India International Phonetic Alphabet)

'Brahmi Lipi' is the most ancient script of India. All Indians script was derived from "Brahmi Lipi' and 'Maha Lipi' is a modern and scientific form of 'Brahmi Lipi'.

 

‘Maha Lipi’ script is a new script that is phonologically based and written accordingly to the actual sound. It is written from left to right, Its pronunciation has no ambiguities, one alphabet represents one sound only, no silent letter. 

In ‘Maha Lipi’, the total number of letters is restricted as compared to other Indian scripts. With the help of this alphabet, we can easily work on computing & typewriter. It represents 56 basic sounds of world languages.

‘Maha Lipi’ may serve as a common script for all South Indian languages. As the letters of ‘Maha lipi’ are cursive, it may be accepted as an easy linking script for all Dravidian languages.

                                          

So with the help of one script, North Indians should not balk at learning Dravidian languages. Some are the key features as follows –
